April 29, 2015 • Steven Koster

Our goal at ReFrame Media is to help you see God's incredible story in life. We hope our daily devotional can help you be refreshed, refocused, and renewed in God’s Word every day, so we've invested in updating the digital experience for the devotional. We've spent the last several months analyzing data on how folks use the daily devotional website and how we can best deliver ministry content to you.

Here are some things about the new site that we think you'll love.

Fresh Design

The daily devotional is celebrating its 65th anniversary in 2015, but always endeavors to bring you fresh insights for your life in God’s Word. We updated the design to be contemporary, fresh, colorful, and personal. We're confident that you'll like the bold, bright, and clean look of the new website!

Accessibility & Responsive Design

As much as half of our web traffic comes from mobile devices, so we’ve designed it to be mobile-friendly. The new site is fully responsive and accessible on all your Internet-enabled devices. It doesn't matter if you're on a desktop, iPhone, Galaxy, iPad, smartphone, or Kindle Fire--the site will be optimized for your screen.

Devotional Library

We have archives of our daily devotionals going all the way back to 2005, and we wanted to make it easier to find what you were looking for. We've added some robust search features to allow you to filter out devotionals by category, author, date, keyword, and more. This new feature will help you find exactly what you're looking for in our library.

Blog & News

We’ve added a section for news on our blog, we’ll be posting introductions to monthly themes, introductions to authors, behind-the-scenes news, and blog posts about your prayer and devotional life. This is a new feature so tell us how you like it!

Simplicity

Most people come to the site to find the most recent devotional, so our front page remains just that: today’s devotional! We also know that many of our visitors are looking for a way to get our devotional delivered to them every day, so we added the subscribe section right below each day's content. Also, we simplified our subscription page so you can access the in many formats convenient to you.

Speed of the Website

No one likes to wait for pages to load, so we are dedicated to making sure our website loads as quickly as possible. If this site is not loading fast for you, head over to this help page, and we'll see if we can get it sorted out.

Robust Help Section

Every so often, something goes wrong or someone has questions about how to access the site. So we’ve built a "Help" section to address the problems you may be experiencing. Hopefully with this self-service area, we’ll enable you to find answers to your questions without having to email or call and wait for an answer!

Same Great Devotionals

As much as the technology around us changes, the story of God's love for us is timeless. The devotional continues to be written by Christian Reformed Church pastors or other theologically trained people in a manner that will help you refresh, refocus, and renew your life in Christ.

May you be refreshed, refocused, and renewed in God’s Word!
